April Showers, part 2

April Showers ... a Lilli Bell Sip and See

The latest trend in welcoming baby is the Sip and See, a special party where friends and family are invited to mingle and coo over the most important guest of all, the new little one. Since we’re still celebrating our own exciting arrival – Vera Bradley Baby – it seemed a fitting time to ask Kim Stoegbauer of The TomKat Studio to share a Lilli Bell-inspired Sip and See that would make any new mom feel incredibly special and loved.

The Sip N See is supposed to be a party that the new mom throws for friends and relatives to see the newborn? And the new mom is supposed to go all out with the party invitations, decorations, cake and even a signature cocktail and goody bags for the visitors to take home? Have any of these people ever had a baby? For the first couple of weeks after the birth of the baby you are lucky if you have enough energy to take a shower and get dressed. VB please don’t guilt-trip new moms into doing this. If we want to feel inferior we’ll go to Martha Stewart.
