I love this new pattern for what it stands for. When I met one of my best friends and found out both his parents had been through cancer (his mom beat breast cancer, his dad im not sure what type) I see them as some of the bravest/ kindest people in the world with the greatest outlook on life.

About 3 years ago, my Vera Bradley obsession started, and the first pattern I ever bought anything in (and one of the only patterns I bought for a while) was Pinwheel Pink. Then, when Hope Garden came out, I started buying that, because I liked what it stood for, just like Pinwheel Pink. And then Loves Me, Twirly Birds Pink and Tea Garden have come out since, and I absolutely adore them! And now, Ribbons is the newest Breast Cancer pattern, and I can’t wait to have something in that too! I feel it is a way I can contribute to the search for a cure! Now, I am a Vera fanatic, and have something in almost every pattern since pinwheel pink! :]

I am not a huge fan of slowery pattern but I absolutely LOVE this one! The colors are an awsome combination. You can use it any time of year during the bleak winter months the pop of color will bring some brightness and during the spring it fits right in. I think that the proceeds going to breast cancer awareness is an awsome thing. I have had several people in my family affected by all types of cancer. Hope to win but even if not eventually I will get a bag of some sort in this pattern. Crossing my fingers!! 🙂

I love the Ribbons because, it has a relevant and special meaning to the mothers, sisters, friends, aunts, and grandmothers who have fought won their battle with Breast Cancer. It also signifies in the women in memorandum who have lost their battle to Breast Cancer, with their families still continuing to support this wonderful cause. I myself have hand aunts, friends, and grandmothers who have had both, won and lost to Breast Cancer. Praying one day there will no longer be cancer.

I’m very happy to see this pattern. I picked up a tote in Tea Garden last year, on the day it came out, just a week before my double mastectomy. Almost a year later, and I am cancer-free. My hair is even starting to grow back. I intend to head to my local Vera retailer, Parkleigh, and buy a bag today in celebration of the anniversary. Ribbons is by far my FAVORITE pattern Vera Bradley has ever created. I have many Vera bags in many, many different patterns, and Ribbons really touches me because my great grandma (who yes, I did know), died of breast cancer and one of my friend’s grandma is currently fighting her battle. This pattern stands for such an amazing cause and it is SO FREAKING CUTE. I want something in this pattern but I am currently a junior student athlete in college and I’m saving for my fiance’s homecoming from Afghanistan, so it’s not exactly in my budget right now (sad).

I love the reason behind the pattern; supporting a cause that touches so many (too many). The pattern itself is feminine yet fierce ~ like a true fighter! The outside is playful with delicate flowers woven through it and the inside pattern is strong and consistent. In my opinion, it is a well designed pattern that will appeal to everyone!

I lost a friend of mine several years ago to breast cancer, purple was her favorite color and she loved flowers. I recently lost another friend, also to breast cancer, I plan on buying a bag to remind me of each one of them. I love the new pattern for breast cancer. I have several VB but only one for bc which I make sure I carry during bc month. I have lost several friends to bc and know many who made it through all the treatment. When I carry the bag it keeps the people I love close to me.

This is my favorite hope pattern so far. It’s colors are fun and vibrant. It shows that there is hope out there for women who ate suffering and those who have survived. I love that I can buy my favorite purses and have it go towards a great cause.

I love ribbbons because of the contrast between light and dark colors. The Contrast between the dark navy and the pretty pinks is mesmerizing. Like in life, and the cause it stands for there will always be the contrast between the light and the dark times, but it is the good that can be brought out of those times that gives everyone the will to figh, and to keep fighting.

I love the Breast Cancer Support. I especially love this pattern because although it is Breast Cancer it is not too pink. Just like a woman going through Breast Cancer, you want to blend into the crowd and not stand out too much but you do not want people to forget about this horrible disease. I am new to Vera Bradley and love this pattern. To me it signals HOPE! The flowers are bright and new, growing and blooming from the darkness. This shows that in all things there is HOPE. You just need to have faith and the strengh to move on and bloom through the darkness.

I love how this pattern is reminiscent of some of the original Vera patterns that I remember from when I was in college (30 years ago now, eek!) but still looks fresh and modern for today.
OMG, I love this new pattern! It fits so well with my old pattern from 2004, Windsor navy. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in June and I love supporting her with pink ribbon merchandise! I would love to be able to give her this awesome tote.
Not only is this new pattern absolutely adorable and stylish, it is supporting a wonderful cause! By buying a product women cannot LIVE without (bags, totes, diaper bags for new mommies, etc.) they are supporting women fighting to just LIVE. I love everything that Ribbons stands for! It also helps that it is a super cute new pattern that is feminine without being overly so. Having lost my Grandmother to this awful disease in 1968, I am an avid supporter of Breast Cancer research. In the last 5 years a good friend has been affected twice, various of my classmates, an aunt have all been diagnosed and undergone treatment. I had to have a double biopsy this summer, again! This is enough, but just 3 weeks ago a high school friend succumbed to this horrible disease, after a 5 year battle.

I love this bag. It’s so representative of a survivor to me because it’s soft, strong, and admired. Im sure it’s able to tolerate the day to day abuse that can be a part of a survivors life, and it will bounce back after some TLC. It is so lovely, just the way it is, or if someone wants to add some things to it, to make it personal, it will still be lovely.
My Aunt had breast cancer and so did my best friend. My friend is a survivor, unfortunatley my Aunt died.

Because of the cause and the great name Vera Bradley has made in quality I will add a few to my collection. But, to be honest I am not too excited about the pattern or the colors. The pattern seems a little disorganized and the Blue seems bland. I want Vera Bradley just to have my honest opinion. And I own at least 20 bags because usually I Love your color and pattern choices.
This pattern is so pretty! I have multiple family members who have survived breast cancer so I definitely appreciate Vera’s support!

I love Ribbons for so many reasons! I love love love the color combo–i think the navy w/ the different shades of pink, aqua, lavender, etc is such a great combo–it looks beautiful! Fortunately, no one close to me has had or died from breast cancer, but i have had friends who lost loved ones to it, and as a woman, it is a very important issue to me. If i can support ongoing research through purchasing something in this pattern, even better. Finally, even though this is Breast Cancer awareness pattern, I am digging that it is not overly pink. The “ribbons” and pink flowers are just enough to relate to the awareness component, but are not overwhelming. Thanks for a GORGEOUS new pattern VB!!!!

I love this new pattern. I believe that not only does it symbolize strength, patience, hope, and optimism for those with the cancer, but it also symbolizes the faith those people who are standing by their sides have. It’s hard enough to actually have breast cancer, or any cancer for that matter, but it would be harder going at it alone. So I think this is a symbol of appreciation to those who have stood by and held that cancer patient’s hand, who have kept pushing that patient when he/she just wanted to give up, and who were there to just cry with. So thanks for this beautifully perfect fabric and thanks for giving us all some hope.

I love Vera Bradley for many reasons. My grandma Fay Bradtmueller worked at Vera Bradley in Fort Wayne, IN for a few years. When she found out she had breast cancer the other workers there did everything they could for her. Made her blankets, gave the family food, and in her dying hour they still stayed by her side. Vera Bradley is not only a company, but it’s a family, and this family has done so much for my family, we can’t thank you guys enough. Grandma Fay loved her work, her coworkers, and her bosses, and they made it clear how much they loved her. She passed away in January this year, but I want to personally thank you guys for putting out this new design and everything else you do for breast cancer research, maybe the next person to go through this fight will have a better chance. RIP Grandma Fay!

What a wonderful way to support this cause! I have not yet been able to have my own Vera Bradley bag, but I have wanted one so badly. This may prompt me into buying my first VB bag sooner. I love this new pattern. The color scheme is gorgeous. Most importantly it supports all the beautiful individuals who have battled, or are currently battling such a difficult challenge. It is all the awareness, support, faith, and hope that helped my sister, a 35 yo stage 4 cancer survivor with excellent news recently. Chemo reduced the tumors and stopped further growth. May she now be able to continue living a long wonderful life. This pattern is an exquisite reminder of hope for those survivors and even their co-survivors. Life is precious, never take a day for granted.

LOVE!!! Just wanted 2 share a short story about Cancer… A little over a yr ago I purchased a new vera bag, a few days later my mother in law went into hospis. While visiting her she noticed my new bag. She loved it! She was the one who got me into Vera bags. Her last words to me were keep buying those bags. Each bag I bought since seems to remind me of her in some way. I miss and love her so much! Thank You so much for coming out with this bag to help others. God Bless ❤

Love the navy background! This is my favorite Breast Cancer Awareness pattern/color since Pink Elephants. A friend was just diagnosed with breast cancer, so it’s meaningful, too. I think I’ll get her something in this pattern as she goes through chemo and radiation.

As someone who knows many people who have either survived or succumbed to breast cancer, including my future mother-in-law, this piece represents their personality: full of life, hope, strength, courage, and bravery. So many people I know and many others have known someone who has had Breast Cancer and survived or those who went on before us. While I always like the new Vera Bradley colors, I hadn’t found one that I liked as much as 2011’s Breast Cancer Awareness pattern-Tea Garden. This pattern has done it for me. I love it!

This has got to be my favorite Vera Bradley pattern so far. I love pink flowers, and the navy background is very sophisticated. It’s definitely my style – girly with pretty colors, and classic at the same time. It’s wonderful how Vera Bradley has items supporting breast cancer research year-round. LOVE IT!!! I would like to share a short story… around a year ago I purchased a new Vera bag. A few days later my mother in law was admired to Hospice. During our first visit she noticed my new bag and loved it (of course). I will never forget her last words to me, they were ;”keep buying those bags.” Now it seems that every bag I get reminds me of her in some way. Your bags are an inspiration to me. I ‘m so glad you created this pattern to help others going through this. My MIL passed at 56yrs old. I miss and love her so much. Thank You Very Bradley for helping me to keep her alive in your bags. God Blessall who are surfing from this evil disease.

I love Ribbons! I’m such a huge supporter of finding a cure for breast cancer. My mom fought the fight for 7 years before loosing her battle. I think I like this breast cancer pattern the most because it just has the hint of pink instead of totally pink. I’m a huge Vera Bradley fan and also a huge fan of finding a cure. I miss my mother daily, and it’s great to have a Vera Bradley to represent her and her fight!

I absolutely love vera bradley! My husband always says… Really another purse?! And I say of course, and dont forget the matching wallet 🙂 My family has lost a lot due to cancer, so I love the print and everything it represents. Having this print would put a smile on my face, and seeing it helps me think of all the good times we had with the many people we love and adore so much!
These bags are amazing! I love Vera so much I named my daughter after her 🙂 The quilted detail, the colors and the numerous pockets are what make it so awesome. The quality is really second to none, they last forever. Would make for a perfect diaper bag slash purse and I could be sporting it in remembrance of my aunt who lost to breast cancer 24 years ago. What a long way we’ve come since then but a long way still to go!

Love this color. My mom had breast cancer when I was a freshman in college and fully recovered. I have always wanted to get her some Vera that was in the breast cancer support color but she is more of an Ellie Blue, Purple Petals, Canyon kind of a woman. She might actually love this color and I know I do. Just the right amount of pink!

i love the meaning behind ribbons and the other breast cancer awareness colors because of its meaning in my life. my childhood friend, who was basically my brother, lost his mother to breast cancer at a young age. Vera Bradley’s design team has definietly captured the fighting human spirit in “Ribbons” . My mother has not only had to endure Breast Cancer once, but twice and this pattern describes not only her struggle but the millions who have had faced it and who continue to face it each day. The navy blue is such a strong color but the details in the flowers and the beautiful colors used remind me of springtime. There is a renewed hope in the spring and the research to find the cure is what we all want. I would loved to give this tote to my mother for her birthday in October, she is everything that I hope to be one day. I am incredible blessed and honored to be her daughter!

Oh, I just love Ribbons! I’ve never been so excited about a pattern – I just think it’s delightful, from the bright colors to the cheerful butterflies. LOVE!
This new pattern is as unique as each Vera design this far. This pattern however recognizes everything that Breast Cancer Awareness needs and has to deal with. I feel like the colors of pink and blue combined are kind of like our blood pumping through our veins to help our bodies fight off cancer while giving us hope by being “happy” colors that there is a tomorrow. I also feel like the pink and blue is a great color combo because while mostly women get breast cancer, occasionally men get it too. I feel like this makes it more of a gender neutral topic. The fact that Vera Bradley supports research and is willing to make a product for this cause is amazing. I didn’t know that Vera Bradley had a foundation for Breast Cancer Research. Thank you for drawing our attention to this problem as well as the foundation.

Ribbons is by far my favorite of the Vera Bradley breast cancer awareness prints. I love the navy background which allows the colors to pop, and that it has a pink ribbon in the print. The cause is very close to my heart, as I’ve lost people through out my life to this cancer. Two people very close to me continue to fight. I will be wearing something pink every day in October.
As a breast cancer survivor myself, anyway to help fund research to find the cause and/or the cure is a wonderful thing. And this pattern makes it easier to make a donation. When I was diagnose almost 3 years agao, my mom bought me a Vera Bradley bag. Thanks for all the support you have given to every person who has been touched by breast cancer!

I support VB as a company because of their support for breast cancer research. I lost a very close aunt to breast cancer and it is a part of the healing process for me to know that my dollars can help fund research to help those struggling with it. It affects more than just the individual, it affects the entire family.

I’m a newcomer to the Vera Bradley fandom, and I did not know Vera did a pattern for a breast cancer foundation (or even that the company had a foundation) until I saw the announcement for ribbons.
I did not fall in love with “Ribbons” because it’s anything special. Don’t get me wrong, it’s beautiful, colorful and I am so excited to own it. I fell in love with Ribbons because it is such a vibrant pattern to uplift the spirits of those afflicted by breast cancer, whether a patient, survivor or loved one of a patient or survivor. “Ribbons” is so much more than a new Vera pattern, it’s a new symbol of hope and strength for everyone who has ever watched someone they love go through cancer. I lost a family member to breast cancer last December, right before Christmas, and it was devastating. I’ve also lost someone else I loved dearly to cancer and still think about her at least once a week, and it’s been five years.
I will buy a wallet in this Ribbons pattern, regardless if it’ll cost me money that I don’t really have to spare as a college kid, because I want to support this foundation, and I know that I’ll look down at that wallet and think about everyone afflicted and send a little hope their way.
I apologize for the melodramatic comment, but I just think this pattern and this foundation are really, really great and proves that Vera Bradley stands for more than just bags.

I love this new pattern! Not only does it represent a great cause, but it also adorable! I am a future teacher of English, and I am currently doing my student teaching right now. I would love to have a new tote in “ribbons” to carry around student work, projects, and papers. I think this new tote would give me the extra confidence to go out and change the world through teaching!

My best friend’s grandma and mom are both breast cancer survivors. It’s genetic, and so I know, there’s an incredibly high chance that she could be facing down this disease as we get older. I absolutely love Vera Bradley! I have loved spreading the love of Vera to my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law’s mother passed away from breast cancer, so My husband and I have have purchased many breast cancer fund raising products for his mother over the years, but Vera Bradley is always our favorite, because of it’s style and quality. This past year my mother-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer, she is now cancer free, so it will mean so much more when we purchase her this new pattern for her this Oct for her birthday.
Why do I love Vera Bradley and this new pattern? October marks ten years of life after diagnosis. This is my life. This is my fight.

What a cute pattern. I have several styles and patterns of Vera’s, this one will be a great addition to my collection. I know SO many people who have died from breast cancer, and my best friend here has had 3 surgeries, but is a fighter, and a survivor. If I’m feeling “generous” I may get her one as well. She’s certainly earned it. I’ve bought her tons of pink ribbon things, and she has several VB pieces she loves, but using the navy to set this off, ❤ it's a knockout. She'll FLIP! This new design is so inspirational and raises awareness to a good cause in a stylish way. It is a chic way to promote and empower women to get tested for cancer. It is also a beautiful way to pay homage to those who are survivors and to remember those who have unfortunately lost the fight. It would be so amazing to win a tote with this new design because I would donate one to the breast cancer walk in my community as a raffle prize for a cancer survivor and then buy myself one to support the cause.

My Mom died from breast cancer 7 short weeks after my first baby girl was born. Vera Bradley was our ‘thing’ we shared a passion for. She had breast cancer once before so she always had the breast cancer awareness patterns. We used to count down the days until the new patterns came out and make a trip that night to see them at our local pharmacy. I definitely miss the excitement not being able to call her when new patterns are released, but I continue to carry on the tradition with her in spirit.

Recently, my Aunt Heather was diagnosed with breast cancer at 33 years old. In her time with the illness, she’s been stronger than anyone I’ve ever seen, but anyone can imagine that hasn’t come easy. Like every other woman with breast cancer, she could often use some hope. Pieces from the Vera Bradley Breast Cancer Awareness collection do just that. They give women hope. Knowing that other people care enough about their battle to raise money for awareness is truly heartwarming. I hope every time a woman with breast cancer sees another woman carrying Ribbons, it gives them determination to keep fighting!

As a breast cancer survivor, I am always looking at ways to promote awareness. VB patterns the benefit the cause are always great. Ribbons is my new favorite.
On behalf of my beloved grandmother, who battled breast cancer and later, succumbed to bone cancer, I extend my deepest gratitude to Vera Bradley’s commitment to a cure. My mother followed suit with the same diagnoses and continues to receive chemotherapy on a regular basis. My older sister was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago, but thanks to digital mammography, hers was caught early. With technological advances such as this, funded by the corporate generosity of companies like VB, maybe I won’t face the same fate as my grandmother, mother, and sister. Above all, I hope my three daughters and granddaughter will only know of the toll this selfish disease took on the women of their extended family and never have to face breast cancer. Thank you, Vera Bradley! It’s also a BEAUTIFUL PATTERN!

I have LOVED the Vera Bradley look and quality for a long time now, and always like to buy to support breast cancer awareness (after having known several women and their daughters who have been hugely affected by it), but haven’t found any of the other VB breast cancer awareness patterns to go well with my wardrobe of mostly cool tones and denim. This pattern is so cute, I bonded with it when I first heard about it coming out, and would love to wear it proudly to support the cause!

Everytime I see a breast cancer item (and I would say I probably one of all of VB Breast Cancer Prints) I think of my best friend from HIgh School’s Mother who passed just this past Spring. She mothered us all bk then and made the biggest impressions I will never forget. So I wear VB Breast Cancer patterns proudly in memory of this special woman, mother, and someone I would call a mentor and friend …. who I will never forget. VB always creates the most beautiful prints and collections. And I’m proud to have them be my favorite collection. My husband just can’t understand why I must have all the prints and so many different tote bags. LOL…..and to know when he wants to buy me a gift when he walks in the stores and is so overwelmed and he just says to the ladies a breast cancer pattern please……he knows I will always choose a Breast Cancer pattern first in Memory of Shirley Robsen. ❤

I love this new print. I love great ways to give to a wonderful and very important foundation. I will be honest in saying that I am not the world’s greatest fan of things that are “overly pink.” I have always purchased conservative items (smaller) items in the breast cancer awareness colors. I couldn’t be happier that the main color is blue on this new pattern. Can’t wait to wear a tote in this color. I am sure that there will be many more ribbons purchases, especially made by the VB fans who love the blues and greens, rather than the pinks.
Can’t wait to see this color in person. Hurry up Friday so I can visit my VB store.

As a daughter of a cancer survivor I would love to show off how strong my mother is. Cancer has struck her family in more ways then one person could handle. Her father, mother both sisters, brother, aunt and herself have all delt with this horrific problem. Along with her sisters she is a survivor unlike the rest. For over 30 years she has fought battles off and on but she is a fighter and has taught me how to be just like her.
Love the patterns and colors on top of the fact that Vera Bradley does this to show their support.
Vera Bradley has demonstrated over and over again a commitment to the breast cancer fight. Every time I carry one of my VB bags I am reminded of my dear niece, who passed away from breast cancer at the age of 23, and what a fighter she was!
