Summer Cottage incorporates a bouquet of seasonal shades and pairs well with the bright hues the coming months bring. We’ll let Liz entice you a bit more …
“This sweet, dainty pattern expresses the lush foliage of summer. Pretty petals and leaves in fresh shades of red, carnation pink, golden yellow, navy, cornflower blue, white and a touch of mint green evoke a nostalgic, almost dreamy feeling. The shades are so airy and light you can almost feel the subtle evening breeze.
The hues of Summer Cottage are reminiscent of the fruits the season brings; strawberries, raspberries and blueberries with a whipped white ground. It’s almost edible!”

OMG this pattern reminds me of the clothes and their patterns growing up – I think it would have been the late 60’s early 70’s. I remember having a outfit my mom had hand-made me in similar colors and pattern. I also like how you can’t really see a background in this print!

Summer Cottage is my favorite of the new patterns by far. Its very lady like and sweet. They only thing I would change is add a little more of the pink. Sometimes, it seems like the blue overpowers the rest of the colors. Maybe I just like pink a lot considering my other two favorite Vera patterns are Twirly Bird in pink and Folkloric. Despite all the blue, I still think its so pretty.

Just one look at this beautiful print takes me back to the beautiful gardens of Vermont in Spring. Gardens filled with wild blueberries and strawberries so abundant that you want to pick them and eat them on the spot. To make the day perfect, I would have pick some beautiful red and pick carnations on my kitchen table and grab my “summer cottage” tote and make it a “Vera Bradley ” kind of day….just perfect!

Luscious colors—makes my mouth water. The pink/corals reflect the shades of a ripe, juicy watermelon. The blues and greens bring a cooling breeze to hot, sultry summer days. Perfect combo—and soooo denim friendly. So versatile and wearable. The white bacground lightens the whole color scheme. And the bright yellow daisy centers add a small, but mighty color pop!!!

You absolutely hit the mark on this pattern, very patriotic in color too. It just is the perfect way to say summer, even more than Priscilla Pink, which seems more spring to me. I think that for me it’s the best release of pattern as a whole in a while. I could see having several pieces in 3 of the four colors.

Summer Cottage takes me back to my youth when we used to visit a neighbor’s beach house every summer. The curtains and furniture were decorated with all the light, bright colors of summer…and Summer Cottage lets me take that trip back in time. Great pattern!

I LOVE this pattern!!! In fact all of the new patterns are amazing. I definately have some new favorite patterns. Plus these bags are so much better than any designer bag because they are so versitile and if they do get a little dirty you can just wash them. PERFECT!! I would rather spend all of my money on Vera Bradley than buy just one designer purse.

This color definitely reminds me of summer and great memories of my childhood. Great vacations to new hampshire with my family and barbecues. One BIG smile! It’s so beautiful – the design is vintage-feeling and on-trend at the same time. As someone who has been missing the “classic-ness” of the older prints (I got my first Vera almost 20 years ago and still carry have a collection of the “Carry All” for errands) I haven’t been in love with a pattern for a long time, but FINALLY! Even my “tween” loves it!

To me a classic pattern refreshed.
In the video, you describe the pattern as ‘camouflage-like’ , which I do see after looking at it again. In the pattern the flowers are very scattered, and I like the pinks mixed with the reds, with a subtle mint green added.
