This past Sunday, Vera Bradley employees gathered at Parkview Field in downtown Fort Wayne for a company picnic that was full of food, fun and a lot of hometown spirit. We cheered on our very own Fort Wayne TinCaps as they took on the Lansing Lugnuts of Lansing, Michigan. Despite a bit of rain, we enjoyed a memorable afternoon with good company and ended the day with a win for the home team.

I seriously want to work for VB!!! Look at that – even the umbrellas are VB!! 🙂
Those are the coolest baseballs I’ve ever seen! You should add them to the Vera Bradley collection. I know I’d buy one! : )
SOOO fun! I want to work for Vera Bradley!!
I want one of those!!!! You should add them to the collegium like the other person said along with the spirit shirts!!

Oh my gosh-my 8 y/o softball playing daughter would LOVE one of those balls and I so want a Vera Bradley baseball Jersey!!!!
Lucky are those who attended this function. I would even cheer against a Michigan team if I was surrounded by all things Vera!
Love the VB baseball! Any thoughts of selling them as a limited edition item?
Wow!! VB you definitely hit it out of the park with this event!! The ultimate baseball game! Everything looked so beautiful!! Thank you for always sharing your fun, and photos!!
WOW!!! Looks like you guys had a TON of fun!! Gotta say the baseballs are my fav 🙂
Such an impressive picnic! I’m keeping my eye open for future job openings 🙂
Wow, that looks like so much fun!! I am so excited to the the peak of the happy snails stadium blanket. Those baseballs are so so cute!! Love the umbrellas so much!
It was a wonderful afternoon with my grandsons. The baseballs are so cute! Thanks Vera!
So, what happens to all of the special items that are at events like these (tablecloths, umbrellas, wall hangings, decorations)? I’m guessing that some of them are put away and stored for the next event (the Twirly Birds Pink tablecloths seem to be at every event), but what do they do with a couple dozen Happy Snails umbrellas?
They had a drawing of every employee at the ball game and gave away the umbrellas and blankets to the winners.
Just cause it’s silmpe doesn’t mean it’s not super helpful.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the baseball!
I’ll join in & say that you should definitely start selling those baseballs, even if it’s just limited edition..I love them!! :]
