Trend Reporter Liz takes us, color by color, through Fall 2011.
Would you like to make a statement? Because I know I would. I can’t wait to wear this pattern with fall neutrals. Pairing these intense colors against the perfect trench coat or army green jacket will have people doing double takes and asking, “Where did you get that bag?” (I love when people ask me that.)
So what’s the skinny on the hotness of this pattern? Other than the colors, which were inspired by the warmth of a Sahara sunset and an Indian summer, the actual pattern was crafted after the illustrative styles of mirrored or surrealistic art and tribal motifs. The exotic flair of this pattern is juxtaposed with a regal two-toned scroll on the inside.
Fall 2011 colors and styles arrive online and in stores Thursday, July 7!
This is my favorite of the new patterns!
Can’t say that I like any of the new prints–too large, not abstract enough.
I don’t like the new colors either. Been carrying VB since 1995 but it seems they are catering to the younger set. What happened to patterns like Classic Navy, Classic green, Collette, etc.?
It use to be that VB had colors for ALL generations and some more subdue patterns, Americana Red, Navy Blues, now it seems all are bold and wild fitting One generation and it seems to get more like that each new pattern 😦
I disagree! I am 66 and I love the new colors and patterns. I am thinking about getting something in this pattern, although I ordered the today’s special value bag in Happy Snails from OVC because I wanted a navy background to use as a neutral. These patterns make me smile!
I like this patern!
I LOVE this one- I can not wait for them to be released next week!!
This is my second favorite out of the new patterns.
Plum petals is still my favorite so far
me too!
Beautiful!!

I love this pattern!! I’m so excited for July 7th too!
This is my favorite new pattern!!
Definitely not my fav, but it’s not terrible either! I wouldn’t buy myself anything in this pattern, but I would use it if I received it as a gift!
Looks like Carnaby,
this one and happy snails are going to be my new faves!!
This one is definitely my favorite, although I wish the giraffes and elephants that are on the stationery were part of the fabric pattern as well.
This is the only new pattern I halfway like.
I love this! I wish the Dooney wristlette size was more popular, so that there would be more purses to choose from. It’s the perfect purse size for anything you’re doing & this patterm would be so pretty on it!
Safari Sunset is Simply Elegant! I LOVE IT! It reminds me of Fall, with the warm orange & golden yellow colors, as if plucked from a sunset. GORGEOUS! I LOVE the rich colors and the EXQUISITE pattern! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! I love the use of so many shades of purple, lavender, magenta & aubergine, in the Fall patterns. Purple is in! A purple lovers dream! I am so HAPPY, Beautifully done VERA!! SO MANY VERAS, SO LITTLE TIME!! 🙂
LOVE this one. I see myself loving this pattern and Mocha rouge this fall. I think I’ll start with a wristlet…
LOVE this pattern!! Can’t wait to see it on July 7!
i like it! reminds me of kensington, with more punch in color:)

LOVE the new colors–I think Vera is doing a wonderful job of keeping more traditional design options while exploring with new, fresh, and bright patterns!
Can’t wait to see everything new on July 7th…..Love me some Vera Bradley !!!!!!
I’m going to be a sophomore, and my mom bought me a “Vera” totebag in Safari Sunset to carry my books in from class to class. (We’re not allowed to have backpacks.) I adore this pattern, and I know that the bag will work as well as a backpack.
