  1. lelia says:

Difficult to choose just ONE ; )

  2. Jane says:

Honestly not too impressed with any of them… Where did the paislies go??

    • Amy says:

I agree. Not too impressed with any of them.

      • Chris says:

Yuk.. i agree i think sometimes, there time is up enough with so many collections.

      • kelly says:

I like the new colors, but they just aren’t ‘special’ anymore since they come out with new collections practically every other month. I miss the days of only two signature color releases per year!

    • MARGARET says:

      I ❤ paisley, too.

    • Lucy says:

@Jane: If you go to ohmyvera.com you can see the 2011 Fall patterns. There are paisleys and the patterns are too die for! I must agree that Summer 2011 patterns aren’t very impressive like other seasons.

      • Amanda says:

I do like some of the new patterns I had never seen this blog before i LOVE it thanks for the share 🙂

    • Tara Strovel says:

agreed! I’ll be using my spring bag all summer! Lemon Parfait, Making Waves, Hobo…love it!

  3. Blair says:

    DECO DAISY IS SO CUTE!

  4. Patty McIntosh says:

English Meadows is my favorite. I like the softer colors!

  5. sandy shattuck says:

Deco Daisy by a mile! ToO CUTE!

  6. Maria says:

On their own, I don’t know that there’s one I absolutely have to run out and purchase. But I am loving the combo of houndstooth with Deco Daisy and I can’t wait to see it in person!

  7. Ruth Ann Jordan says:

    English Meadow

  8. Brenda says:

I really like the watercolor. I’m a big purple fan.

  9. suesszq1 says:

    Deco Daisy definitely

  10. Michelle says:

    watercolor!

  11. christy says:

I’m not a huge fan of any of them either. Now the fall 2011 colors, those I love. It’s been a while since I’ve fallen in love with a pattern.

  12. Edwina says:

I like Viva la Vera and would love for you to bring back the Good Book Cover in Deco Daisy – wouldn’t that be awesome!

  13. Amy says:

    Viva La Vera!

  14. Megan P says:

I like, not love, VLV and will probably get a Zip ID or something small. I do adore all of the fall colors, though! Can’t wait for them to officially come out – I want a Plum Petals tote and a Mocha Rouge Sophie!

  15. Marsha says:

Sorry, but I really don’t care for any of them. I prefer patterns that are more timeless. These are very busy patterns.

  16. Carrie says:

I agree not loving these. I do love the new canvas bags!

  17. Sue says:

Would love to see something orange

  18. JoAnn Melkus says:

    English Meadow

    • Barb says:

Guess I am in the minority of favoring English Meadow this time. I think it will look great with my summer outfits. The yellow is cheerful, and the print is not too busy. Looking forward to rich fall colors.

  19. Adrienne says:

You are really going to have to ship LOTs to Alabama of the Deco Daisy –
All us “Bama” girls will be getting them!!!!!

  20. Lisa says:

I would like to see a couple more SOLID colors…….Im finding it very difficult at times,to coordinate my purse with my outfits….although I own many different styles and patterns,I would love NOT to have to empty the contents of my purse, just to switch to a solid, which is NOT a Vera…..the basics would be wonderful…….Black,Brown,Navy,Tan…..I own a very large tote in solid Navy(possibly the carry on tote),I would love to see the solids in a Betsy and others….you could put your signature patterns on the inside…..but solids on the outside???

  21. Elizabeth Visak says:

I love English Meadow but the solid canvas totes are my real favorite!

  22. Lynn says:

I agree with Kelly! I enjoyed when you only came out with colors twice a year…I absolutely love Vera Bradley but you a spending so much time coming up with different patterns 3-4 times a year you can never fall in love with a pattern….it’s been so long since i’ve been in love with one pattern…most of them are eh semi cute but i can live without….my mom is a fan-not as big as I am- but she will absolutely only buy one when she is in love with a pattern…the last time that was, was with “new hope” =( the last one I fell in love with was peacock and then until baraoque i hadn’t fallen in love with one and and i’m pretty infatuated with lemon parfait but when you put it close to peacock they are very similar =)

  23. Rosemarie Bishop says:

Deco Daisy rocks………..But I still wish they will bring back some of the older patterns rather than launch new ones or maybe they can do both. I just started collecting and I am in LOVE with some of the older patterns which is too numerous to mention and are no longer in production .

P.S can you also make large totes.

  24. Cindy Pittman says:

Love the Deco Daisy. I see lots of new Vera in my future. Would love to see a Nook (Kindle) cover (not just a sleeve) added to the line in these new fabrics.

  25. Connie says:

I love the new Summer colors. I had been frustrated with the last few seasons colors and had not bought anything for a while. I thought they were cheap looking…like the ones you can get at other places that are knockoffs. These summer colors are rich and have depth. I love watercolors….especially if you are a pastel lover this is great. I also like Deco Daisy. When I travel I use black as my clothing color with accent colors so I think this will be my summer bag of choice-Deco Daisy. Now I just have to choose which style. I do not like Viva le Vera.

  26. Lori says:

I am very disappointed in the color/patterns that Vera has had in the last couple seasons. I was a huge Vera fan but now I don’t see anything new that I would want. The colors are all so overpowering and the patterns are wild. They seem to be more teenage style, teenage seems to become your core demographic. I would love to see Vera Bradley get a little more classy, more vinatge Vera.

  27. Lindsey says:

If I had to choose it would be Deco Daisy, but I’m not crazy about any of them. None of those patterns really seem summery to me. The first 3 are more of spring patterns, and Deco Daisy should be a fall or summer release. Who gets to decide which patterns are used, and at what times they are released, cause I know I would love to have that job, and I’m starting to think they need to be replaced. Just sayin’

  28. Melissa says:

I have to agree with some when I say that I am not impressed at all with these colors. I prefer patterns that aren’t so busy! All of these scream “busy”! If I had to pick a favorite it would be Deco Daisy and not because I love it but because it is the lesser of all evils. I must say that my favorite all time Vera bag is the Vera Vera Espresso Hipster. This bag is timeless and goes with absolutely everything. I have started just buying accessories to change instead of the purse. I even bough a second one so that when my current bag is worn out I have a replacement since they stopped making this bag!

  29. Elizabeth C. says:

I think English Meadow will look very pretty in the stationery items!

  30. Sharon says:

The colors are pretty but not spectacular. Releasing colors 4 times a
year is too much. I think two times a year was just right, there was
expectation. A nice timeless Christmas pattern would be good.

  31. Melissa says:

Love all these patterns, finally! After several seasons of ho hum patterns, I adore all these. Watch out, I’ll be shopping when they arrive:)

  32. JustinaLynn says:

I love “Deco Daisy” cause it’s cute, simple and not to flashy. 😉

  33. Kim I Tallau says:

OMG..THERE’S EVEN MORE TO LOVE ..VB is the best at following trends and expressing them with style! Still in love with Yellow Bird, Make me Blush and Baroque I was first in line to acquire some Lemon Parfait because it’s so sunny and bright…ONGOING..just what I needed most coming out of such a dreary winter ….didn’t stop there though because Folkloric , Boysenberry and Blue Lagoon. Are all so deligtful to….each in their own.inspiring ways. Now with the new patterns..Watercolor….especially …my summer is looking.more colorful than ever! Soft hues…blush over swirly flowers…providing the most inviting attitude for eve the hotest days to come! English Garden on the other hand is going to compliment my Lemon Partfait just perfectlh! I simply can’t wait to get some and get some summer started as well! :,? )

    • Kim I Tallau says:

Ps…..sorry for the “oops” in here…im posting from a cell phone that likes to auto-correct everything I do.. “ONGOING” SHOULD BE “OMG”….. for instance ….sorry for the confusion…BAD ” SMART” PHONE! LOL

  34. Elizabeth says:

My favorite color would be Watercolors. I really like the colors that are patterned together. My second choice would be the Deco Daisy because everyone wears something black or red. The others are just to busy of a pattern.

  35. marlys bridgeman says:

i agree w the majority of comments that i am not crazy for any of these new patterns…too cheap looking..will have to see them in person…too many patterns coming out too many times a year lately. the last release of colors was better, the ones now are looking like old fashioned fabric for kitchen aprons or something. you should consider bringing back some good purse styles like the tall zip tote, which perfect pocket tote is just a cheaper version of the better original. and i just bought hobo, and realized that it is a cheaper version of a better retired design, the cargo sling. and now you are retiring the morgan, great bag, what is going on with your creative staff? i think you really need to do a serious poll and find out what we really want and like. i am really disappointed in the hobo i just got. i love the folkloric print, but the fact that it does not zip shut makes it a messy purse to carry around. and i dont have it over stuffed. what about a program on awarding points to loyal customers so we get something free once in awhile? you have retired some really pretty prints that deserved to stay around for awhile yet. same with bag designs.

  36. JennA says:

I like the Watercolor and the Deco Daisy. However, Watercolor looks more “summery.” Can’t wait to see the Fall colors……

  37. Paige says:

I’m not crazy about any of the patterns for the spring or summer. I guess Folkloric was OK for spring. I wanted to buy beach towels for my summer guests, but they seem thin and cheap. Same with the flip-flops – they look like cheap ones you can get at 7-11 stores. Quality has really fallen off of the products. I think they diversed with to many with other offerings (paper stuff, sunglasses, etc ). Vera it’s time to get back to what you do best – stick to the purses and bags with decent patterns and styles. Ho-hummmm yawn.

  38. Tamara says:

Wow… I dislike all of them and that is rare for me because usually I can’t pick just one! None of the prints seem very Vera Bradley-like. Guess I’ll be saving money this summer…

  39. Diana says:

I can’t wait to get my hands on the Deco Daisy. I love Red bags!

  40. Mary B says:

Just not loving any of these!

  41. Dee says:

The only one I don’t like is Viva la Vera. Love the Deco Daisy and English Meadow!!

  42. Dee says:

Maryls Bridgeman the reason the bags you mentioned were retired was because they didn’t sell. Same with patterns. Once it’s stops selling they retire it. You should do more research before you start doling out advice. Also-the tall zip tote and cargo sling both had retail prices over 80 bucks-another reason they didn’t sell.

    • marlys bridgeman says:

how can i research as a consumer, i dont have access to their inventory/selling stats. all i know is what my friends and i like . and as a customer with probably 75-100 bags or accessories along w my daughter
, i feel i am a pretty good customer and my opinion should matter just like everyone elses. i have read other posts from after mine, and there are more negative comments than positive. so why are you picking on me? did you ever buy the bags i mentioned? if not, you have no business judging my comments. i have also been to 3 of the outlet sales and spent big bucks. my daughter ,age 19, and her friends all love vera also and have large collections. soooo we all have a pretty good sense of functional purses along w fashion of them. do you work for vera bradley or something? and fyi, the 2 bags i like and have were really not available very long for a real marketing analysis. i dont appreciate your comments making me look like a moron.

    • marlys bridgeman says:

oh , and dee, the comment you make about the price of the bags is stupid. we all know most of the bags are over priced. most savy shoppers catch the specials they run. and even so with the tall zip tote and cargo sling, they were worth the money, they were secure bags, had loads of compartments and zippers. you really pissed me off as i am sure you have figured out by now!!!!!!!

      • marlys bridgeman says:

dear vera bradley, i am sorta addicted to your products. i check your website everyday. when you asked for comments, you got em, good and not so good. i find it interesting that my one comment as a reply to another person is currently labeled “currently awaiting moderation’…what, no freedom of speech? so remove the “p” word and replace it w “upset”

  43. Lorraine Dellenbach says:

At first I really liked Deco Daisy and Watercolor both so unique and fun! Looking at Viva La Vera and English Meadows I am starting to like them as well!! With all the different styles of bags Vera offers these new patterns will be interesting and fun to see how they look!! I will probably be adding all to my collection! I like that Vera Bradley comes out with new patterns several times throughout the year! Fun to look forward to what is new!

  44. Tina says:

Viva la Vera!! Ole!! = ) ColorFUL Fun!!

  45. Fran says:

Not really feelin the love for these summer colors– perhaps I need to see them in person. It’s 50-50 between deco daisey and watercolor.

  46. Lisa says:

I don’t care for any of them…where is a nice Pink?? Where is the LARGE Backpack?? You need to get somebody new doing the designs…I have been searching to buy a large backpack in cupcake pink….guess I’ll go to Ebay…. You should always have a nice Pink variation.

  47. Sandra says:

I would pick the deco daisy out of the four new ones. Was excited years ago when I started buying Vera bags, but too many patterns coming out now and most of them don’t woo me to the store. Most are way too busy and with too many colors. As I get older, would like to see more solid colors in styles that are more affordable. New patterns coming out too often makes me not look forward to it.

  48. Watercolor is beautiful

  49. Karen says:

    Ick. Period.

  50. Sandy says:

I LOVE Deco Daisy. It’s my fav out off all of them. Keep rocking out the fantabulous prints!

  51. Linda Kowal says:

I like them all BUT my very favorite is Viva La Vera! Love the bright colors and the inside pattern is adorable too!!

  52. Sandy says:

Watercolor is a favorite but I ususally like a lot of the Vera Bradley patterns and designs. Great idea for a contest.

  53. Vivian says:

I love water color and Deco Daisy!!! I know my sisters fav. would be viva la vera!

  54. Charlotte Jones says:

Water Color is so calming and dreamy and then there’s Deco Daisy for excitement. This makes choosing just one almost impossible. Will just have to have both!

  55. Stephanie R. says:

    Deco Daisy!!!

  56. Sandra Creel says:

I love all these are some really great colors. If I had to choose one I love the Viva La Vera.

  57. Jamie says:

I cant choose so I suppose I’ll have to get one of each!!!

  58. I ♥ Viva la Vera!! Can’t wait for the newbies to go on sale!! ☺

  59. Brooke says:

I love the Viva La Vera…I loved the Paisly, but the flowers are so fresh, and perfect for spring/summer!!

  60. Joelle E. Cutler says:

    #1-English Meadow. #2-Watercolor. #3-Deco Daisy.

  61. Debbie says:

Watercolor is very nice. Other choices coming in fall? Will it be in Baroque ?

  62. Barbara says:

I have over 50 pieces of Vera, some of them from years ago and some more recent. I agree that there seem to be a lot of juvenile patterns lately. The fall and winter ones seem more classy somehow. Can’t quite put my finger on it. My favorite summer colors are in the Viva la Vera, but the pattern is too bold. Sort of 60’s gone bad. English Meadow although pretty, is just a knock off of all the previous patterns in those shades. Watercolor is very pleasant, but the liner pattern is just ugly. Probably the best of the 4 is Deco Daisy. Classy & classic. Too bad it only comes in red & black! Maybe after seeing them in person, I’ll find one I like. I am also a big fan of the new Frannie. A little roomier than Amy ( of which I have 10!) and I like the adjustable strap. Still a Little Betsy fan too. That’s my perfect tote size!

  63. Amanda says:

I agree I am becoming less and less a fan of the new colors. 😦

  64. Brooke says:

To those who wish for “classy” colors, do try to be classy in your comments. It is entirely unnecessary to be so overwhelmingly critical of these colors. Like or dislike things and share them politely. The design team at VB works very hard to please, the amount of research that goes into each decision is huge! Would you wish for someone to criticize your hard work like this?! Goodness, let’s remember to be ladylike… and always treat others with respect and kindness. Thanks!
